Dental insurance promoted by people doing silly things.
German insurance companies and humor rarely go together. With our digital campaign for SIGNAL IDUNA's supplementary dental insurance, we have proven the opposite and smashed it. Literally.
In the center of the digital campaign there are three short, funny digital video ads. Each of them tells a short, entertaining story, at the end of which the female protagonists don't laugh much, but urgently need additional dental insurance. Thereby, we underlined the campaign motto “Better have it than need it”.
The spots were accompanied by various video, still, carousel, story and performance ads for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Google, and Pinterest. Luckily, the humorous campaign not only caused a lot of laughter, but also a lot of positive media echo and – even better – hundreds of new insurance contracts.
